We have this new girl in a small-town school, there is no mum in sight, only a depressed dad in a haunted house with an old Grimoire filled with witchy spells. The girl tries a spell after drinking her Daddy's Whisky with her new replacement-girlfriends from school, activates unknowingly some literal instant-love in the process, pisses off a jealous sixth form queen ... and rushes head first into the rest of a story that will in all likelihood include the intertwined histories of the former owner of that Grimoire and of that house, the new instant-lover, the new enemy and some other inhabitants of "Winter". I was frankly bored out of my wits trudging through the pages. And being bored is not my thing. Not my thing at all. Therefore I closed the book for good at 21%.
